What are the LG Flatron Monitors like??

Hi,
I have been looking for a 19 inch Flatron and I have found one in the LG Brand. I would like to hear from the people who have the LG Flatron monitor (any brand) I would like to know which brand you have and your opinion about it as it will make it easier for me when purchasing, sorry people I am not going for NEC or Viewsonic or Samsung.

The monitor I was looking at was the LG Flatron T910B which is 19inch

LG is a good brand. And their prices are rock bottom for the quality they have. Its not the best, but its the best price for what it is while not being offbrand.
Flatron is a proprietary trademark of LG. so all flats made by LG are flatrons. And I dont think they license their technology to anybody else so I guess saying that all Flatrons are LGs is true.
I have owned many flatron monitors, from 15 to 19 inches. Although the 19 inch I had was not a flatron. It was semiflat, and very cheap, around $200. The quality was excellent for not being flat.
I say go for it, if you dont have the cash for a Viewsonic

lucky goldstar. you'll be LUCKY if it lasts a year before the screen turns green. I had one many moons ago, and it was not any good. They are CHEAP. I never skimp on a monitor anymore. To me it's the most important investment I make. You keep them for YEARS, and the better they are the better they are on your eyes, your eyes will thank you

I had a LG 19" Flatron 915 FT plus which I sold after 2 years(I upgraded to a LCD 19") to a friend and is still working fine now.I would say it`s a good choice if you don`t like AG wires found on Diamondtron/Trinitron tubes and want a dead flat screen,the image is slightly darker then what you would get with a AG type monitor.

Text was crisp and it was a good all round monitor,weakness wise I would say geometry,if you can get one with good geometry then you are set,my first two had bad geometry but the third one was virtually perfect.

IMHO and experience with LG,their customer support was also excellent.

LG has improved hugely over the past few years and their Optical Storage products and Monitors are great (I've used a number of models of each both @ home and @ work). Unfortunately you'll always get a couple of people like rickn no matter what brand or product you ask about.
