bin Laden is only wanted for the 1998 bombings in East Africa? it's been almost 9 years since the terrorist attacks in America. Why haven't those been attached to reasons why we want him?

There's no direct evidence of Bin Laden's personal connection with 9/11 that the FBI can use.

Which says nothing about Al Quaeda having conducted the operation.

That article doesn't say much other than admitting that the FBI has no proof that he was partly responsible for 9/11. This flies in the face of the fact that bin Laden and his fellow terrorists have admitted on several occasion that he took a part. Why wouldn't they list 9/11 if he himself says he did it?

He has admitted it. Those that work for him have admitted it. Considering that we've bent laws to get confessions and other intel out of these guys, you would think something like that would be a God-send. There was also that video they found in Afghanistan where bin Laden admitted to doing the whole thing. What else is the FBI waiting for, a confession notarized by Lynn Stewart?
