What are the downside of deleting the recovery partition? I have deleted the recovery partition and installed Windows 10 via USB

Hi guys, I would like to ask for some advise. I have a laptop and I have deleted the recovery partition, so I have the whole hard drive wiped out. I then downloaded Windows 10 ISO and installed it via USB. Right now, the immediate downside of this is that a few drivers and utilities of the laptop are not included in the Windows 10 installer. Also, is there a way to put a recovery partition back again using the Windows 10 ISO?

The downside is that you are seeing already, some lack of drivers... You will have to manually load them yourself.

You could probably go to the manufacturers web site and request / download a restore DVD or USB Media to restore the hard drive to factory specifications. I just did that last night with Lenovo for my new T480 Notebook. They have a media creator that will download the image and create a Bootable Restore USB Stick specifically for my model notebook.

The few drivers Windows 10 doesn't install, you can always just download the ones (along with any utilities) you need from the laptop manufacturer's support website.

I did a clean install of Windows 10 (replaced the factory drive) with a SSD late last year, and Windows 10 automatically installed about 95% of everything needed. The few drivers and utilities I needed were on Dell's support page for my laptop model.
