What are the chances this chip is still good?

Alright, I chipped the core of my new 1ghz chip a little yesterday. stupid me.

i have no way to test it now, but I'll have to find a way in the future I suppose.. heres the pic

I should have put something in there to show how big it really is,, its quite small. 2mm long and about 1/4mm wide.
I know there is no way to be sure that it works without testing but from any personal experiences I would like the odds.
basically im trying to decide as to whether I should buy a cheap socket A board to test it out on.

it sounds like you're looking to sell this? find a friend with a socket A computer and test in their machine.
