well there's this guy i know who for lack of good judgement did something with this girl (8==D O) for only a few seconds (like 5) and then just stopped. (slut realization) anyways, what are the chances? anyone educated in this stuff? oh yeah, my buddy would really appreciate it!

bolomite...the thing is though, males are givers of liquid. i know this doesn't discount the fact it is possible to get the virus but it IS harder. i wanna know what the ballpark percentage is.
Why doesn't he just get tested? I nailed a girl once without the protective covering, and went through the whole paranoia thing, but got tested a couple times. Although he probably doesn't have it (it is harder for guys to get it than to give it) it'll put him at ease. But what are you gonna do when you're young dumb and full of ....

so that table shows how many people infected per 100,000 people total? only 4.3 asians for every 100,000? Seems a little low.

could suck. might not know for 6 months to 5 years...... or longer. can be dorment for a very long time...........
Well first of all, if your friend is gonna get tested, the tests wont be conclusive until he waits for AT LEAST 6 MONTHS. It takes time for the body to develop HIV antibodies which is what is tested for. So tell him to chill for 6 months and think about how stupid he was. Then get tested and find out for real.

I did read somewere that a woman runs a 30x higher risk receiving HIV from a man than a man does from a woman. an accidental needle stick from an infected person is about 1 in 300. your chances are much greater to get some other sexually transmitted disease.
pregnancy is much easier to "Get" while having sex than any STD. Especially if your looking at the teenage demographic, we're too damn fertile.
A doctor once told me that teenage (16-19) girls shouldn't even look at sperm, as they'll prolly get pregnant. I'm guessing guys are to an extent too.
So, if I was having unprotected sex (ok, with women I knew fairly well) I'd be much more worried about pregnancy than the STD of the month. Of course, if it was with the girl everyone "knows".. hrm.
