What are the chances an earwig laid eggs in my ear?

I woke up to scratching sounds in my ear. I can hear movement within my ears but couldn't see anything. I poked it with q-tips and didn't see a squashed bug on the end of the q-tip. I picked up a box of Clinere on my way to work and finally got the sucker out, half dead--luckily not in half.

So when will the eggs hatch into larvae and start eating my brains from the inside out?

Relax, you've got several days til you're integrated into the hive.

I thought the brain eating kind only lived in Africa.

Pics requested.

Use Eye drop or saline solutions to flush that sucker out... if you stick a que tip you may crush or scare the bastard into borrowing deeper into your ear canal.

I got it out already. Feels ok now. I'll stop by a clinic tomorrow on my way home and have them check it out just so I'll sleep easier from tomorrow night on.
