then theres actually carbon fiber done right... like the bandwagon car McLaren F1... :p

The only other car made with carbon fiber that I can think of that is dollar-for-HP worthy is the Z06.
Not sure if I'm reading your post right, but the Z06 isn't made of carbon fibre. Its a composite plastic - i.e. fiberglass.

There's a special edition Z06 (or future production model, I don't remember which) that will have a carbon fiber hood to lighten the load.
Yes, there will be a special edition Z06 for 2004 that will have a carbon fiber hood, but I wouldn't compare a vehicle built entirely out of carbon fiber to a vehicle with just a carbon fiber hood.

AFAIK, the C6 Corvette will still use fiberglass.

The 2005 Vette, the C6, will indeed be made from fiberglass. But just because the entire vehicle isn't made from carbon fiber doesn't mean that you can't say that the special edition Z06 is made with carbon fiber.

Whatever. I don't care. I don't to argue about this. This is ridiculous.

Boron dust composite and RCC for the leading edges. Lots of titanium to hold it together...

Will it be a complete exhaust system made from titanium? Or just titanium exhaust tips like the rest of GM vehicles (well, it's chrome but you know what I mean)?

hmm

cars bodies are usually made of thin steel;
some like saturns are a dent resistant plastic
some are also aluminum, but, sheet metal steel is the most common

I don't think elemental boron is used as matrix, and RCC doesn't have any specific advantages over carbon fiber. Plus I don't see how you can include boron in RCC, and anyway, are you thinking of casting it all in titanium (can Ti even be cast?)?

Is the whole Saturn made out of thermoplastic, or is it just the lower door panels?

Oversimplification. Keeps the lawyers happy. :)

Titanium can be cast, in the vakuum. Only very few casters will do it - too dangerous, they dont like to blow up their shops :D.
No seriously, due to Ti affinity to O, it is a very dengerous buisness

My buddy, worked on the project at Zeuna Starker, says it s a full exhaust system.

EDIT: looks like it is a complete system. Link to ArvinMeritor's website. ArvinMeritor owns Zeuna Starker, IIRC.
