Don't care about ambience or atmosphere, just good food at reasonable prices.

Any suggestions on where to go?

i'm from So. Cali. i've eaten at some dim sum places in SF and they so far...ALL SUCK!!! If you want some good dim sum you have to come down to the San Gabriel/Monterey Park area. You can call me a dim sum expert because i eat it about once a week. GOOD SCHTUFF...if you know where to eat at. :)

Is this in Monterey? I went to Monterey Wharf once and the fish was better there than in SF Wharf.

If $$ is no object and waiting is not a problem, I would suggest Ton Kiang on Geary St. near 22nd Ave for the Best Dim Sum in
Chinatown West...

In Chinatown (downtown), try Miriwa on Pacific st. near Grant Ave. Yank Sing is also good but I am not sure if they are still in
business...

Well, no sh!t, Monterey's whole history is built on fishing. did you happen to notice the tourist attractions there? Cannery Row, The Aquarium......

I was going to go to the Monterey Aquarium, but I was tired... How come there aren't any seal-things in Monterey like there are in SF?
