what are the best horror/scary movies? need to know for small party tonight

So I'm looking for suggestions on the best horror movies I want to, uh, scare the pants off some lovely ladies tonight Here's what I've come up with so far (using rottentomatoes.com)...

The Exorcist
The Others
Blair Witch Project
The Shining
Bram Stoker's Dracula

I've seen all these except Blair Witch and The Others. So, what else should I go and get from Blockbuster? Thanks!

The Lost Boys is a good funny/horror movie, but I won't promise that it will actually scare anyone.

I didn't find The Exorcist that scary. I do own The Exorcist III though, but I'm kind of afraid to watch it. My older sister (8 years older) bought it for me and told me that when she saw it in the theator, it scared her so bad, she ended up asking my parents if she could sleep in their room that night. She was seventeen...

I'd pass on Blair Witch and Bram Stokers Dracula in favor of Halloween and Psycho.

The Shining is old but quite atmospheric.
Blair Witch Project, ahahahahaha

The rest I haven't seen.

The film that scared me the most was Jeepers Creepers, only the first half though; the second half was rather bad.
