i just bought a new system and built it last week, but i need fans. my idle cpu temp is 48C, which is way too high people tell me. all i have is the fan that came with it in the front and one in the back. how many fans can i fit in this case and where would they go? and if anyone could point me toward a place that sells good fans it would be much appreciated.

I have a Enlight 7237 Case with 300 Watt power supply
My case temp drop to within 1c of ambient room temp with this set up.
This I believe is what effects cpu cooling the most.

I use a Mechatronics 120mmx120mmx38mm. 126CFM 2800RPM 43dba in front.
I had a 120mm Panaflo H1 in front, but didn't get as good results,
and a 92x92x25mm Sanyo denki 55 CFM 33dba in back.
Plus the dual fans on my Leadman PS.
Idle is 28c-30c Load 35c-40c. Room temp 70F.
Tbird 1gig, using a Comp-u-nurse temp probe in between my
Alpha PEP and cpu just touching the core.
I tried the fan both ways, sucking and blowing (modified to
mount on the top of the heatsink) and it worked better blowing.
I also added some and enlarged all the holes on
the case front panel. Plus I cut out the retaining clip on the
bottom of the front panel, I had to do that to clear the
120mm fan and it also increases air flow to the fan.

Of course this is my results......hope this helps.

As for buying fans:
2CoolTek
Millisec
SidewinderComputers

Have fun.........
