I did notice the volume control on the cable.. But the 500s are only like $15 bucks or so.. i couldn't imagine the 400/450 being much cheaper (?).

Do you'll think the ipod standard white earbuds are better than the 500/400/450? on par?

But why pay more if you don't need it? I guess I would just find it annoying to have two different volume controls.

Oh! so the ipod ear buds are better than the 400/450/500? Well I will just get those then.. (Since they are about the same price).

Everyone think the ipod ones are better/same?

Ahh ok.. yeah i was wondering..
What do you'll think about the sony line?

SONY FONTOPIA® Silicon Pad Ear Buds: MDR-EX51LP BLUE
or such?

I know sony makes great, low price items..

Should I worry about ear buds falling out of my ear when working out? I saw the sony ~$30 ones wrap around your ear then in your earbud.. hmm

If you will be running all the time I might recommend ones with clips that go around the ear or neck for added stability, but either will work.

Definatley give the KOSS Plugs a try. They are so comfortable and provide optimum sound wear &tear. I recommend these because previously with the SONY FONTOPIA I have noticed that the ratio of Bass to Treble is quite awkward; there is so much bass that the voice gets drowned out. Nonetheless i have found that these buds are completley inexpensive ($10) and worth every sent. And if you get them DO NOT PURCHASE THE ONES THAT ARE BLUE AND YELLOW. The reason behind this is that Koss came out with a new line (THE SILVER AND BLUE OR THE SILVER AND PURPLE) which have have been significantly improved. hopw this helps
