what are the ADA885 4.1 THX's from Altec?

i searched pricewatch for 4.1 and THX under multimedia, and it gave me two results that are supposed to be altec lansing 4.1 ADA885 model THX speakers for about 100?
are these good and real?

also, should i go 4.1 THX or 5.1 non-THX, and is THX really worth the like 100 or so $ i'd be spending for it?

ADA885 is a older unit, you'll get no support. THX is 50% owned by Creative labs so Altec gives away their money to the competition. Kind of stupid huh? Don't buy the Altec. I worked in thier engineering lab for over 2 years so you need info about any models email me.
