Question What are: Sprints, Events, Challenges, ... ?

Now it may seem a little odd for someone to ask this but really when you just don't know there is nothing else for it.

I have not been involved in any of them up to now.

Maybe I am wrong but I guess the purpose it to have the community focus on individual projects for for a short period.

I gather there is some form of sign-up for each of these events.

There is also likely to be some form of reward for taking part.

Maybe I missed something else in there.

Could someone just explain these things to me.

There is also likely to be some form of reward for taking part.

Almost always just point standings, pride, and knowing you helped a project a lot. Though I have heard of some teams with more rewards.
