I've just got a new blackberry, and I'm trying to download as many things as possible (over the wireless connection, of course!), but crackberry.com doesn't have that many interesting things.

Also, I'm looking for MSN Messenger (or Live Messenger, or whatever it's called these days), or an all-in-one that provides connectivity to G-Talk, MSN, and Yahoo! at the least.

It isn't dedicated solely to Blackberries, but boygeniusreport.com is a great website.

Here is an app that does what you want, it will cost you.

Link

Also, I don't know which model you just picked up, but here is a list of OTA apps for the Storm.

Oh,yeah, mentioning the model would've been nice ;)

I just acquired an 8900 Curve

BTW: I'm a cheap ass, I'd like to not pay for apps, as much as I can. :)

For instant messaging I have to go with BeeJiveIM. It does all networks, is very easy to use and reliable.

You can get BB apps from most I'm networks for free, MSN live, Gtalk and Yahoo to name a few, but there is nothing better than having one app do them all.

Ok, all-in-ones are good in the sense that you can use multiple accounts at once, but they're all commercial? There's no free alternatives?

Also, what about forum suggestions?

BeeJive is like $19 or something. Hardly going to break the bank.

- Howardforums
- Blackberrycool
- Pinstack
- Some other places that a google search would find.

pinstack.com is a great BB resource IMO.

BTW, there should be a free messaging software available through the mobile BB website somewhere. I have it and it works well enough.

You mean the messenger? I have that, but it's not on yet because I haven't yet activated my BIS subscription.

OK, I have found exactly what you want; an I'm app that does all networks that is also free.

Google 'Nimbuzz BlackBerry'.
