I'm trying to compile a list of movies and songs that symbolize the decade commonly known as the 90's. Post your contributions.

I think that the movies Jurassic Park, Clerks, and Independence Day should be included.
Songs such as this one should also be included.

What are your contributions?

I'm confused...

First you want movies & songs from the 90's, then you say you want movies & songs from "the best decade ever."

So which is it?

I can't see youtube at work so I don't know what song you picked, but when I think "90's music" the first song that comes to mind is "Hey Jealousy" by the Gin Blossoms.

Oh, ok. Let me explain. I started by requesting songs and movies from the 90's, right? Then I went on to say that I am requesting songs and movies from the best decade ever, right? As a logical conclusion, it is safe to say that I think the best decade ever was the 90's. Let me know if you need more assistance.

I'd say best decade for music was 80s. Best decade for movies is this decade.
Of course, there is good stuff from every decade, and this is just my opinion.

Oh, the song I posted is Seether by Veruca Salt. I'm listening to your song as we speak, and although I do remember the band, I can't remember that specific song.

you're the one in need of assistance. although the 90's were quite strong, it's the 80's that holds the title of Best Decade Ever.

Best music was indeed from the 80s, but this decade has the best movies...? Hardly. Cheesy sequels, ridiculous comedies.. all you really end up with is the LOTR trilogy, a couple Pixar movies and and a few others that stand out but in no way can you say this was the best decade for movies. The 90s had Pulp Fiction, Shawshank, Schindler's List, Gump, Titanic, Matrix, Usual Suspects, American Beauty, Casino, Goodfellas and countless others.

Please don't make this an 80's thread...

Ace of Base - All That She Wants was another great 90's song.

Indeed. 90s is better for movies, 80s for music.

As far as definitive 90s song, I'd go with that Gin Blossoms song as someone said, or maybe Smashing Pumpkins. 90s movie almost has to be Titanic, with Pulp Fiction a close second.
