I've been using IE with google toolbar so far and it was fine for me...

but this tabbing feature of firefox is addictive 😀

I found out middle click opens window in another tab...

any other shortcuts, tricks that you guys use often on firefox?
 
ctrl + # = goes to that numbered tab
ctrl + w = closes current window
ctrl + scroll up/down = increase/decrease font size

don't forget to use keywords with your bookmarks. I use 'f' for these forums

I say mouse gestures is the most additive...it even works on images to enlarge/reduce size
 
i love the search engines in the top right corner- besides google, ive got yahoo, amazon, dictionary.com, ebay, imdb, askjeeves, and wikipedia. 🙂
 
get the prefbar, you can disable javascript and flash with 1 click. I always disable the flash unless necessary. javascript disables sometimes, most pop up if not all are in javascript, same go for ads
 
ctrl click is same as pushing middle button or wheel. ctrl w is close tab, ctrl n is new window.. ctrl t is new tab.. ctrl tab is next tab.. ctrl shift tab is previous tab. saving all tabs into one bookmark folder with a check option lets u open all the pages in separate tabs wit a single bookmark thingie...
 
Middleclick tabs to close

Highlight text -> right click, -> new menu item "Search web for *text you highlighted*"

use media/music players? look into FoxyTunes

sites not showing up in firefox? looking into IEview

and much much more....

closed that tab by accident? closed several? look into undoclosetab (allows you to middleclick tab bar to restore the tab)
 
If you have a broadband connection you can do some of these tweaks and see if you get some better performance -> click me.

BTW: Googlebar rocks, I like it better than the built in search box. And if you like to keep up on the weather you can check out ForecastFox.
