I have been able to handle the tablet from Compaq and Acer, and I have seen the Toshiba. I found the Compaq tablet to be pretty heavy, even without the keyboard connected, and I didn't care for it's design. The Acer definately is the lightest of the three and works very nicely. I haven't been able to use the Toshiba, but our customers have reported that the LCD seems to be brighter than the Acer's. Otherwise the Toshiba seems to be about the same as the Acer designwise. I know these opinions are related to the design, but that is a big part of the new tablet design, a computer that is meant to be carried around. The current Acer's may be lacking featurewise, there are supposed to be some new ones coming out that support a gig of memory and are faster (duh, like they would make a new model slower), but I don't have the details as to when they are coming out. I did like the pen for the Compaq, though the Acer comes with two and I haven't been able to try out the larger pen.
