I found my old SNES, which still works - with the Super Mario World game and have been having a blast playing it - and I remember having Super Metroid and Starfox at one time and liking those as well...

I started getting out of consoles around that time, but I'm sure there's many good games I've missed - so, somebody recomend some games!

There are countless classics on SNES. A few I would recommend:

Chrono Trigger
Final Fantasy II (IV) and III (VI)
Super Mario RPG
Super Metroid
Super Castlevania IV
Mario Kart

I could probably go on forever.
 
Street Fighter II Turbo was bad ass.
MKII and MKIII 😀

Mario world was a lot of fun.

Super Ghouls and Ghosts was a total f0cker!
 
heh, thanks folks - I remember playing Zelda and FF2 - and FF2 was one of the first games I ever gave up on playing....

That Last Boss battle made me throw in the towel... A year or so later when I was going to sell off my SNES games, I tossed that game back in and was finally able to finish it....

The games I did have were:
Super Mario World
MK I - no blood, but still fun
Zelda: Link to the Past
Drakan - a shat game....
Final Fantasy II
Final Fight
Actrasier - loved that game

FFIII, ken griffey Jr was fun, Streetfighter II, any MK, super mario world, Chrono Trigger, F-Zero, Mario Kart, NHL 9x

I owned that game, that games was fun, especially with another player.

Final Fantasy III (I just finished playing it again this past weekend. Best FF soundtrack by far)

Secret of Mana
Chrono Trigger
Super Castlevania IV
Zombies at my Neighbors
Axelay
Super Contra
Rock N Roll Racing

There are many more, but can't remember all. I had Super Scope too and that was fun back then. SNES was golden age of gaming.
 
SNES is the top system ever. it has some of the most amazing games. FFIII (VI) had one of the best story's and good graphics for its time. man you can make a list of games that are amazing in like 5 minutes.
