A lot of work has left me lazy to sign up for a class to run to after work. What are some exercises I can do and read up on to further improve my playing (not just reading tabs). I don't wanna get tooo indepth. Just some good intermediate exercises. Thanks

Are you looking for lessons or songs?

For songs, this is my favorite site:

Vanderbilly.com

For lessons, you may want to check out a paid site for decent structure and accurate lessons.

Workshop Live is fantastic and their prices aren't too bad. They have some of the world's best teachers giving video lessons...can't beat that :)

Scales. Look up Total Guitar's Ultimate Scale Book. Seems useless now but seriously I wish I had taken the time to learn all my scales from the start rather than just learning songs.

I was thinking more of lessons that would make me a stronger player. not someone who knows the basic chords and only knows how to play specific songs. Those seem like good resources.
