What are some good work gloves that won't make my hands sweat?

I need a good set of gloves for normal, daily use. I carry medium weight stuff around. Let's say 10-lb. pipes

However, it gets pretty hot around here and I sweat a lot normally so I don't want gloves that will make my hands sweat.

Anyone have experience with good gloves?

I cant remember what they are called, but they are grey-ish with little blue tabs and patterns on the palms for grip. They are very comfortable, light weight, and even worked very well for holding or picking up small things.

I use a pair of Mechanix M-PACT 2. My hands don't sweat in them.

I have heard of those...are they significantly better than Mechanix original gloves?

Grip and knucle protection is better but otherwise about the same.....

Those look like they would be just about perfect...except that white might be an issue

I use these everyday.

They are a cloth that looks like the palm and bottoms of fingers were dipped in a grippy rubberish stuff.

They themselves don't make you sweat, but if you do sweat in them they are *fairly* cheap so you can either toss them or grab a different pair while the sweaty ones dry off. I actually wear these under some leather+kevlar gloves and it helps keep my hands squweaky clean because it's kinda a dirty factory job.

Awhile back I bought this El Cheapo impact gun while my Mac gun was being serviced by the dealer,it came with a set of gel padded,breathable Mechanix gloves.
Now I have been in the business of repairing vehicles for close to thrity years now and these bad boys are no doubt the best damn gloves I have ever worn,in the cold they are warm,in the heat they breath and they are extremly tough,the only problem lies in the fact is that you have to buy the 1/2 Titanium impact kit to get them (the impact wrench is OK but my $700 Mac is far supieror.

Gloves for what? Only reason I'd ever wear gloves, is for use with concrete block. What do you want them for? They seem like more of a hindrance than a help to me.

A few reasons
This is a dirty, dirty country...oh man, is it dirty. Weapons and vehicles have small moving parts that'll jump out and bite you. Hand sweat is better than hand burning

Just because I hate leaving threads w/o a conclusion...I ended up getting a set of Mechanix Fast-Fit, a set of Mechanix Original, and a (free) set of Ironclad WorkCrew
