What are some good speakers , like 5.1 or 2.1

Does anybody have the Abit SP-53?

I am looking for some new speakers and saw these at Newegg.com for $55. They are true 5.1s and didn't know if they are any good.

I am using a 5.1 C-Media sound. If you use this chip, get the new drivers from Windowsupdate.com, they are really good.

So to start what are some good speakers. They can even be 2.1 ones, BUT can't cost more than $100.

If you can find them around you, some Sam goody stores are clearing out klipsch 2.1's for 89 bucks.

I heard those Abit speakers really suck in a review, can't remember where. You could search for reviews on google.

Abit speakers?

Sound like abit of crap to me. My advice is to seek quality before looking at price. A $100 set of used Klipsch 2.1s is better than a $55 set of Abit 5.1 speakers. Personally, I prefer Monsoon and Cambridge Soundworks.

the logitech 15.00 link is for subscibers only. post the direct link to the
speakers, not to a subscriber's forum.

You can use the same link, just change subscriber to forums in the URL.

MY GOD! 89bucks?!?!?!? the cheapest on pricewatch is $175! are you sure?!?! I have a sam goody not so far away, are all of them doing this?

Another vote for Klipsch.

EDIT: Just saw you said under $100, i would go for the 2.1 for $89 at Samgoody or the Refurb 4.1's at Klipsch.com for $149.
