I'm hoping your communal stove has a broiler. If so, broiling is the way to go. Fast, easy, and well it's upside down grilling.
Great for lobster. A 6 ounce cracked lobster will take about 5 minutes or so.
For dipping/topping, add a teaspoon of thyme plus juice from half a lemon into a melted half stick of butter. Quick, easy and very delicious.
