Hm.. those movies are more *dark* than anything else. Tenenbaums is quirky, yes, but in more of a depressing way.

Looking for something...more upbeat.

Bottle Rocket is similar in quirkyness to Royal Tennebaums(same director, writer and a lot of the same actors) but it is a lot more upbeat.

Well, speaking of Princess and the Warrior makes me think of Run Lola Run...
Hmmm....I wonder why? 😛

P&W has a more linear storyline than RLR, so I recommended it first. They're both great tho.

If you liked get SHorty (one of my presonal favorites of all time) then Big trouble (Tim Allen) is cool.

Also Suicide Kings with C. Walken is good.
quirk ( P ) Pronunciation Key (kwûrk)
n.
A peculiarity of behavior; an idiosyncrasy: ?Every man had his own quirks and twists? (Harriet Beecher Stowe).
An unpredictable or unaccountable act or event; a vagary: a quirk of fate.

I thought that line was from Men at Work, with Emilio Esteves and his brother Charlie Sheen?
