work at a hotel, or for an airline at a ticket counter or similar, if you like to travel, both offer great discounts. also, if your a bellman at a hotel, the tips are usually great and you'll end up making more than most of the people around you, like i do :)

I have had the same job for the past 14+ years but before that I worked at a chevy dealer. What about the local 7-11.. take money, sell lottery tickets, read penthouse, eat hot dogs. Sounds easy enough.

my job is at the mall selling glasses. For a partime person, any job that pays commision is perfect. Don't fret if you don't get 7.00/hour. Once the commision kicks in, you'll probably average yourself at 8+/hour. Quick money.

either taht, or pick an extremely busy chinese restaruent........they have good tips.

How about a video rental store? I always thought that would be laid back and kind of fun. I like to talk about movies anyway. Who wants to deal with the food service industry? Not me. Video store all the way.

Lol... I used to work at Blockbuster (hated it) and now I work at the Front Desk at a hotel.

So there goes two of the ideas...

I was thinking something exotic/fun...

Video store. I worked at one through school, and I loved it.

The work is easy and you get free movie/game rentals... What more can you ask for?

I work at a department store right now.. pretty good pay, 20% discount on all purchases, and in a month, I'm ready for a management position my manager tells me. They also offer benefits if I stay with them for a while, but I'm heading off to a different part of the state for college.

It's not tax free if your employer is following the law.. ;)
