Kev

last thing i have heard and liked was a perfect circle's 13th step, before that it was deftones self-titled. i generally like rock... no rap and no pop

A Perfect Circle's latest is great and so is an indy group called Castles in Spain.

You can check them out at Castles In Spain Website

They have a great sound, I like them alot....since they are indy, their CDs are pretty cheap.

payable on death....but not so new though.
also, result may vary is awsome, but again a couple of months old.

yeah the deftones one is really good. mbony that is a lot of stuff. they all hard rock?

Yea, sorry about that, but all but Air, Ryan Adams, and maybe Dandy Warhols are hard rock. You can't rock harder than Drive-By Truckers, seen them at least 10 times and they rock my a$$ off every time.

The bands I mentioned aren't really nu-rock, which is what I catagorize bands like CKY (I think), Chevelle, P.O.D, Puddle of Mudd, Static X. So if you're wanting something in the vein of those bands, none of mine are close to those. My choices are more raw and under produced giving the 'indie' sound.

No disrespect to those bands, they just aren't my choice of entertainment.

You mean the sound like it was record on a cheap computer mic?

Did you read what I said?

last cd I bought was Degredation Trip 2 volumes - Jerry Cantrell, I loved it. This is from a big Alice in Chains fan though. released a year ago.
