What are some good jazz music for two lovebirds getting in the mood for romance?

Edit: Especially with deep/slow saxaphones

John Cage's most famous musical composition is called 4'33".

It consists of the pianist going to the piano, and not hitting any keys for four minutes and thirty-three seconds. (He uses a stopwatch to time this.) In other words, the entire piece consists of silences -- silences of different lengths, they say.

On the one hand, as a musical piece, 4'33" leaves almost no room for the pianist's interpretation: as long as he watches the stopwatch, he can't play it too fast or too slow; he can't hit the wrong keys; he can't play it too loud, or too melodramatically, or too subduedly.

On the other hand, what you hear when you listen to 4'33" is more a matter of chance than with any other piece of music -- nothing of what you hear is anything the composer wrote.

its only 4 songs, but miles davis 'blue moods' is a good one. better yet, since my fave track on there is nature boy, get the comp 'plays for lovers' which also has 'nature boy' plus some other goodies

edit: and of course sade's 'best of' is a good choice. not a whole lot of soulful sax in there, but there is still some.

edit02: now that i listen to it again as i type this, i stand corrected. there is actually a good amount of sax in here.

If you are looking for deep/slow saxes:

Coleman Hawkins Desafinado and Body and Soul
Lester Young Lester Swings and Blue Lester (remastered)
Joe Henderson Double Rainbow and Relaxin' At Camarillo
Tony Campise Ballads, Blues and Bebop and Ballad, Blues, Bebop and Beyond
Gerry Mulligan My Funny Valentine
John Coletrane Coletrane for Lovers and More Coletrane for Lovers
Charlie Parker April in Paris and Bird after Dark

Now some vocalists:

Diana Krall The Look of Love, Love Scenes and When I Look in Your Eyes
Jane Monheit Taking a Chance on Love
Ella Fitzgerald Love Songs:Best of the Verve Songbook and Taking a Chance on Love
Chet Baker My Funny Valentine and Songs for Lovers

Most of the artist I listed have many more "romantic" albums than the ones I listed. Also there are many more artists that you can choose from.
