what are some good English (british) insults or putdowns

im working with another engineer and we banter back and forth all..... in good fun

but id like to know some good insults or putdowns using the english/british vernacular...

They throw around the C word a lot more loosely over there.

The C-word is frequently thrown about in England as an insult. It doesn't carry nearly the taboo as it does here. Try that on for size...

First of all it's twat not twit :) (another word for cvnt)

And yes we have a much more liberal culture towards swearing than you poor americans do, it's not that big a deal they are only words after all. I still can't believe you have to censor words like crap and damn on TV, that'd be laughed out of the censors office over here.

One word we tend you use a lot as a swear word over here is piss which I believe you guys don't consider to be one :) i.e. "piss off" or "I'm so pissed off" etc.

Wanker is a favourite as well though only cockneys pronounce it waynkar. Another favourite would be Boll0cks and fvckwit

There are many more but I can't be bothered to think of them at the moment :)
