so far i got:

What animal would you be?

ok mabey not deep, but intresting convorsation topics...

Hah, now i'm sure these questions may not be the type of "deep" you're looking for, but they've livened up quite a few conversations i've been in.

How much would it take for you to (insert action/action+object here) to a person of the same gender.

There's many variations that can be thrown into it. Yes, i know, it may sound stupid at first, but then when people start giving reasons for what they will and will not do for money, it's actually interesting (and fun, depending on how perverted the question )
