Looking for something me and a buddy can play. I'm not looking for sports/racing games, must be co-op. All ready played Halo, and I will most likely be getting Halo 2 when it's released. Until then, what co-op games would you recommend?

With Full Spectrum Warrior, do you need to play over xbox live for co-op play? or can you play split screen?

If you have a modded xbox there are apps that can emulate XBL over a LAN and let you play with some one else. You need a computer to serve as a matchmaker and a lan so you guys can connet together, this works with most if nto all "live pnly" games... ill get you the name of the app as soon as i can find it

nope nevermind, you still need the internet, there are alternatives to XBL though. I got mixed up there for a sec. Although I could have swore there was a program that did that.

You're probably thinking of XB Connect. You don't need a modded Xbox for that though. XB Connect will just "trick" your Xbox into thinking that it's joining a System Link game but it's over the internet and not through a LAN.
