What are some good car forums?

I used to be on s2ki a lot, back when I was interested in buying an s2k. (and no link to that helmet thread!!!!).

Edmunds townhalls (both for general and model specific discussions) are very good. Some manufacturers have reps that will take part in discussions, assist in customer/dealer issues and answer general questions. The forum layout is a bit dated though. The subaru forum there is very lively. Back when I was going to work for Subaru, I actually got to meet most of those corporate guys. NASIOC is popular as well for the subaru crowd.

Same here (and the one I visit is really even model-specific). I really like it that way though, because there are lots of people who are very knowledgeable and can help you with problems about your specific car...

Jesus H. Tapdancing Christ, don't you know how to search google for sh|t? I found all of that on google in .54 seconds -or so says google on how long it took to serach for "mercedes forums", "jaguar forums", and "lexus forums".

I posted this because I wanted opinions on a good car forums, not just the first three links of google. :disgust:

 
just do not go into specifc car forums (Nissan forum, honda forum). they will tear your left nut out of you don't bend over and be a zealot.

Depends what kind of car...I can understand for cars like the Civic or the Mustang...but over on s2ki, we're pretty good about fans of other cars.

meh, i just came back from the nissan altima forums.....they tore me apart when i said i made a remark about hating my 2001 altima.
