What are some dual cpu athlon 64 mobo's that are good with overclocking?

I want to build a dual opteron 165 system (for a total of 4 cores) and overclock them on air...wondering what mobo's would be good for that...

any ideas?

Also thinking of putting it in a rack mount case and hide it away in a corner of my room or something..

I plan on making a headless system and just VNC into it..the computer will be solely used for video encoding..

If there is no way to dual a 165....I owuld have to dual a 265 system...hmmm...still any overclocking support on dual cpu boards?

None!

1. the 165 is a socket 939 chip, there are no dual socket boards

2. the 165 is not SMPT (muli-socket) capable thus the 1$$, if you want dual socket, dual core you have to go with a socket 940 server board and a 2$$ opteron and ECC ram.

3. None of the 940 server boards have overclocking options as they are designed for stability and reliability.

This is not true.

ASUS K8N-DL $217 (not much more than high end SLI boards)

By no means is it a DFI Lanparty, but it does have FSB adjustments and a PCIe/PCI lock. Don't know about BIOS voltage options but people have voltmodded these and besides the newer 90nm chips can at minimum overclock a bit without voltage. A friend of mine has this board. Note that it requires registered memory, some of the larger HSFs won't fit plus it is about an inch wider than ATX. Pop in a few gigs of RAM, a 512MB 7800GTX and a pair of 2XX series dual core Opterons and you'll be the envy of everyone else here (except for those with SLI 512MB 7800GTX).

I think the K8T Master2 also has some OCing options, but I could be wrong.

I have a friend with one and 2 Opteron 244's.
