What are some decent part-time jobs/careers?

I plan on taking a 3-5 month hiatus from work starting either in November or December. However when I start working again I'll be looking for part time employment. So I've been trying to do a little research on what careers are more likely to have part time positions. I've seen very little in the IT field at least on the administration/development side. I'm wondering if installers (dsl/cable internet) have more flexible hours.

I've also thought about the school system, although the pay may not be as high I would imagine that the techs and IT staff get some fairly nice time off through-out the year. I might have to face the fact that I'll probably have to find a entirely new field to work in if want to find part time work.

Does anyone on this forum work part time? What are your hours like? Is the pay decent?

i would imagine DSL/Cable/Phone techs get crapped on everyday by customers. Not my idea of a fun time. I'd like to drive cars across the country for delaerships, personally. :)

Wow is that a real job? That sounds like fun.

I wonder if there are any part time trucking or delivery jobs.

trucking would require a trucking license and yes delivering cars is a real job. Sometimes it is too expensive to send one car on a car hauler so they pay someone to drive it.
