Sorry, but I've gotta go with the Mayans before I go with the Christians as far as the world ending. They were predicting solar and lunar eclipses hundreds of years before the Christians ever realized that the Earth isn't the center of the universe. And, the Mayan calendar ends soon... That's the kind of stuff that I think is just amazing, and unfortunate at the same time. Ancient civilizations had figured out so much useful information, without any of the technology we have today, or anything close, and then so much of it was then lost due to wars.

Prophecy is ****** stupid. If my future is determined, even just the ends not the means, what difference does it make what I do now? I have no free will, no independence. Everything will work out for the "prophecy" be it good or bad. IF we are talking the apocolypse and judgment, well that sounds pretty ****** ****** so I think ill just sit here and drink more beer because it's goign to happen anyways and I can't stop it.
Free Will > Any of your bible ******.

I love these free will arguments.
1) Humans have free will, God gave it to them.
2) Destiny means that everything is predetermined.
3) God knows
everything which means that he knows what your free will is going to determine before you know it. He even knows it before you existed.
4) Therefore, we are given three options:
God predetermined your fate when he created the Universe.
God is in fact not all-knowing, which I believe contradicts the Bible.
God does not exist.
Take your pick.
