Hmmm...I'm pleased that you'd like to end the thread, but is it mini? The OP mentioned the CRV and Rav4. The next guy mentioned the Liberty. Here are each of those vehicles' lengths as well as the length of the mid-size vehicle in each brand's lineup

Length
Jeep Liberty - 174.4
Honda CRV - 177.9
Toyota Rav4 - 181.1
Honda Pilot - 188.0
Jeep Grand Cherokee - 186.6
Porsche Cayenne - 188.2
Toyota 4Runner - 189.2

Agreed. The 330Ci beats those other cars to a pulp, and it has backseats so it's fine for a family car.

Maybe he wants to sit upright? Or haul tall stuff in the trunk? Or maybe he just wants to look down at other drivers? (Physically look down, not look down at others in the way that BMW-owners normally do :p)

actually I will be needing a car that stays ABOVE water if there is a flood :D:D
I will be moving to my home country, and the roads can get flooded (although not frequently).

EDIT: oh and try jumping to the back seat.. its not exactly very graceful for adults

Ahhh, you have a coupe, lol. We're getting a 2007 328i sedan, although my mom's considering the coupe. I think the sedan is a bit more convenient.

Hyundai Santa Fe... Girlfriend just bought an 06 and it's actually pretty nice. One of the nicer interiors of the small SUVs.

Eh, Korean cars now are where Japanese cars were a few decades ago. They're solid vehicles, but people are still wary of them due to their former reputation.

The Subaru Forester, really a tall wagon but called an SUV, has the best blend of handling and utility in this class and price range. The 2.5 boxer engine provides decent proformance with acceptable economy, as well. As a bonus, the available all wheel drive system if proven and rugged, and Subabru's build quality is exemplary.

Unfortunately the Forester is about the ugliest damn vehicle I can think of that was manufactured in the last handful of years. And yes, that includes the aztek.
