We’re currently investigating an issue related to the forum theme and styling that is impacting page layout and visual formatting. The problem has been identified, and we are actively working on a resolution. There is no impact to user data or functionality, this is strictly a front-end display issue. We’ll post an update once the fix has been deployed. Thanks for your patience while we get this sorted.
848x480, 1024x600, 1280x768, 1680x1050, 1920x1200. These are the ones created from PC resolutions (height same as a common PC resolution). These are 16:10 ratio.
Then there are those required by HDTV - 848x480 again, 1280x720, 1920x1080. These are 16:9.
The S3 graphics driver's readme file has a current summary of supported resolutions - and surprise, there are plenty more. Follow the link and scroll down:

Not to get off topic here, but can someone tell me why PC widescreen monitors use a 16X10 aspect ratio whereas HDTV's use a 16X9? Just curious....
I think 16x10 is better for PC monitors because typically you a few pixels for controls. Ideally you want to view in full res, but still need access to controls like sliders, palettes, buttons, etc. Thats just a guess tho.
... and it doesn't matter anyway, since the respective PC resolutions have a handful of lines _more_ than your corresponding HDTV mode of the same horizontal resolution - barely noticeable black border while viewing media, and a handy extra few lines of display when computing.
