What are my options here?

At the beginning of January I was fixing my girlfriend's boss's computer and bought a replacement keyboard for her dell 600m.

Upon receiving the keyboard, it appeared to be in good condition, brand new, from the ebay seller "accuniverse." After installing the keyboard, everything worked fine except for the right shift key. I started the RMA process and I sent the keyboard back via RMA on 1/19/09. It had been about a week and a half later, so I sent them a message on their little messaging system. The person communicating back to me stated they did not receive the package. I sent it from Phoenix, AZ and all it had was like 2-3 days of travel time to California (that's how long it took to get here). I just chose to ship this keyboard back to them via priority mail.

So they were asking for the USPS tracking number, which I do not have on my receipt, I did scan the receipt in and put it up on imageshack and sent them the link via their messaging system.

What are my options here? Negative feedback on ebay? Dispute through paypal? I think they are just trying to brush the RMA off by stating they never received the product but I clearly printed the right address with RMA number right on the outside of the envelope (I made the label with notepad on my computer).

Did you use delivery confirmation? It is technically possible, though unlikely, that USPS could have lost your package.

You didn't get delivery confirmation at least? No insurance? The post office here is kinda stingy with information, but they did tell me the time and date of a delivery when I had a problem once. They even said they could provide a printout that could serve as proof of delivery in the case of a dispute. I'd call the local post office and see what they can tell you.

At this point you'll have to rely on their goodwill since you sent it with no method of tracking. How do you know it didn't get lost in the mail?

I just find it extremely hard to believe that it failed to get there. I have not once in my life ever had something with USPS that was addressed correctly come up not delivered.

Then you haven't shipped a whole lot.

Besides, if you can't prove something was delivered you are SOL.

I've shipped a lot of stuff to ebay buyers, if they say something didn't deliver and you don't have proof or insurance you are screwed.

You didn't get insurance or delivery confirmation? I'm afraid you're out of luck.

They aren't obligated to do anything, but the post office receipt will show that you shipped something to their zip code. That doesn't prove anything, but if you're polite they might decide to give you the benefit of the doubt.

Since you messed up the RMA, you lost the right to dispute payment or leave a negative.
