what are my choices:p-4 2.4 533 fsb and rdram

here is the thing
i bought an Abit TH7 II-Raid motherboard with the ics generators for this setup and 512 mb rdram pc 800

when it boots up it will register any where from 1.6 to 2412 mhz but i believe she runs at 2400 as the speed is definately there.but i realize that this setup is limited by the motherboard and ram,
since i have a willie 1.5 that uses a msi pro mobo and am planning to build a 1.6 northwood anyway i want to swap the motherboard and ram out and get a motherboard that has:
a: overclocking abilities
b:uses 32 bit 1066 rdram
c:at least 5 or more pci slots (it can have audio and lan or modem built in)
d:the ability to read the processor correctly (i have posted at 2500+ but after rebooting it reverts back to
saying 1.6 etc...even though it still runs the benchmarks the same?)

i have been unable to keep track of anything web related for the last few months and would greatly appreciate any suggestions

also i tried all the different settings in the bios in overclocking this rig but even at setting it standard
(no overclocking) the same error in reporting the cpu speed was made.

it is extremely stable and temps were in the low 40c range loaded and mid 30c idle

i have been hearing about the asus p4t533 and a few others but was wanting the concensus of at members on what to look at and what has problems to avoid this in the future

Recently switched from Abit TH7II to Gigabyte 8IHXP mobo (lan+audio built in). Right now running at fsb 150, Kingston rdram 1066, AIR cooling, completes 3DMark successfully. Happy with this new 8IHXP board so far. Still waiting for certain OC features to be supported in Bios & EasyTune4. Fixed agp/pci bus 66, e.g., is not possible for now.

For 32bit rdram choices are very limited. Nobody has the mobos yet & the 32bit rdram will be furnished with the Asus board, soon to be in retail channels. Most are saying 32bit rdram will be scarce. By the way, there's no advantage to 32bit rdram over 16bit rdram, speed wise. More choices exist for 16bit rdram boards, but this market is just opening up in next few months.

HOWEVER....the real issue is availability of high quality 1066 rdram (like true 1066 Samsung). I'm using Kingston 1066-32 rdram at present. It's OK, but will switch to true Samsung 1066 when it's here, probably better for OCing & more stable/reliable.

We're in a wait & see mode, with rambus, since i850E is the last Intel rdram chipset supposedly.

are you sure this will be updated per gigabytes track record?

kingston 32 bit was it hard to overclock to 150 fsb?

well iwill also is making a mobo that looks tempting but isn't perfected yet

maybe i'll look into ddrll mobo also since there seems to be a better longevity in ddr than rambus in upgrade paths with ddrll matching the 4.2 bandwidth of rambus and still long into the roadmaps of intel and amd there might be more sense in ddrll than i am allowing

guess i have some more research to do
