Bought a TV from sears online(that was my first mistake btw, they suck, don't buy anything from sears). Tv was supposed to come with 2 free items. I ended up getting charged for one of em. Anyway, I talk to customer service and 5 people basically tell me 5 different things. One says that the charge will eventually be dropped once the order is complete, but I didn't really get the feeling that she knew what she was talking about.
The tv is being delivered sometime, and I picked up the 2 "free" items in-store yesterday. Aside from the chaos in the store and people getting so angry and rude that their items weren't being brought out from the warehouse, I got my stuff and found an electronics department manager to talk with. Basically, he had no idea why I got charged, and said there was nothing he could do, and that I should call sears.com customer service again.
Ok...so I think my CC is being charged twice, once for the TV, and once for the other items(s). If I keep getting ran around with sears, will my chase mastercard help me out? I don't really want to sit on the phone with them and ask unless it is time to actually dispute it. Thoughts?
