What Are MRU Lists?

I'm using FireFox as my default browser, and with some other tools have been managing to block the majority of the spyware out there. I am curious as to what these MRU lists are that AdAware keeps finding, though. They all have descriptions like, Windows Media SDK, last playlist index loaded, most recent application, et cetera.

The low risk items are MRU Lists (Most Recently Used). They store information about the most recently used items, for example files, search words and programs. MRU Lists will not slow down your machine if not deleted.

Most recently used lists? Ex) Start menu -> documents. Last files opened by media player. And so on. If you're paranoid about privacy you can wipe 'em.
