What are mds/mdf files?

I downloaded some files in this format and was wondering what they are and how can i burn them?

1. Why did you download them?

2. Why do you want to burn them (to CD or DVD??)?

Man those are Alchohol files. You should install Alchohol 120% to burn or simulate the CD.

hahahhahha...yeah 😉 ....so you just burn them through alcohol 120%? one is a mds and the other mdf...the mds opens but the mdf doesnt through alcohol

I think mds/mdf is akin to bin/cue just in alcohol format but I may be wrong.

Can DaemonTools just mount them as virtual drives?
