What are keyboard risers for?

Are they for people with long fingers? I used to be one who would rise the keyboard simply cause the clips were there but then I realized they didn't help with my typing at all and so I lowered them agian.

Depends on how your wrists/arms are positioned. I'm using keyboard risers right now because my seat is lower than my keyboard, so my arms are raised and propped on the edge of my desk.

Wait... are we talking about those things on the back of the keyboard that raises it so it's tilted a bit? I though everyone uses them.

yeah me too, but I''m going to try not using them for a while and see how it feels.

So far: less than good.

One of them broke off, so I have to use them down, unless I want a wobbly keyboard. I've gotten used to it, but it felt weird at first.
