I do not wish to sound rude, but I would not really recommend Zen and the Art of Motorcycle Maintenance. It is more of a pop-zen text and instead of reading that, you could read original text but D.T. Suzuki, Shunryu Suzuki, Dogen, etc.

You could also read The Book of Five Rings and Family Traditions on the Art of War @ Amazon
