What are good cellphones / plans these days?

I think I'm off my Sprint contract and I'm contemplating moving to another service now that I can keep my same phone number.

I currently have 500 anytime minutes w/ free long distance
2000 night minutes starting at 8pm
500 Sprint to Sprint minutes
Unlimited PCS Vision (downloads and whatnot)

I have an LG 5350 phone.

Anyone offering better plans for new customers? What about a new phone? What are some nice/reasonably-priced ones (i dont need a stupid camera). I shudder at the thought of re-programming my phone book though 😕

T-Mobile offers the best plans and IMHO have the best phones and customer service IMHO. However, their coverage is spotty which is why I'm moving to Verizon.

i personally think tmobile is best. but now im sharing an att family plan with sisters (cant argue with free).

so i have a moto v70 gsm for tmobile for sale. its very small and super attractive. nice unique inverse display (turquoise on dark blue) and w/o bulky/unnessary camera crap 😀. let me know if you're interested

My b/f has been with Verizon Wireless for about 15yrs... since back when they were bell mobil. He has laughed his azz off at us for years while my daughter and I tried AT&T, Nextel, Sprint, ...and the rest.

He gets recpetion EVERYwhere, has great plans, and their customer service is the BEST! He got me one of their phones 3yrs ago but i only used it occasionally cause I had a phone from my job.

I gave back my business Nextel last year and only use my new LG VX6000 from Verizon now.

🙂

I am extremely pleased with my Sony Ericsson T610 with a T-Mobile family plan. Granted I'm in the midwest but I've heard good things about T-Mobile on the east coast. They have some pretty good flip phones too if that's your thing.

I would highly recommend Verizon. I've used AT&T gsm and tdma and Tmobile and Verizon has been the best by far. I get coverage everywhere i go in CA... I really like the lgvx6000 phone too.

I just started a port from Sprint to T-Mobile. My reason for T-Mobile? They were the only ones that would port me since I am not in the top 100 markets. I have just had it with Sprint and needed to change, I have heard good things about T-mobile in the area and the family plans are priced right.

Got 2 great phones for next to nothing since the store price matched the Amazon prices after rebates. Now just waiting for the port to be completed.
