* Difficult and/or painful swallowing.
* Chest pain.

I had none of those symtoms just a temporary stabing pain in my stomach (gone now) and my doctor (no capitalization on purpose) said GERD. Thats all they say pushing Nexium and its like for the gluttons of the world.

Solution: Get/got a new Doctor.
