What are all these folders

I've got all of these weird labeled folders in my C: drive that i have no idea where they are.

Here are some screenshots of what they are: Junk
Here is what is inside the folders...all versions of the same things: More Junk

Can I just delete these things since they get all in the way as they just look like log files...and how can i keep them from coming back? Thanks.

That looks like one of the updates for MS XML services. It does create a randomly named folder on the drive, but it shouldn't be creating a ton of them like that. You should fine deleting all of them.

Do you install updates and never reboot your computer? They should be cleaning up after themselves, and as stash said they should be safe to delete as they are temporary extraction folders.
