Title says it all... I don't feel like reencoding AAC or whatever other format, and would just like a service that enables me to have quick and easy access to a huge number files in mp3 format.

There's none like that really - one of the purposes of a proprietary encoded format is to keep it from being copied and distributed as freely as MP3s were/are, which is stupid IMO.

You will never get it in MP3 format legit because the MP3 format does not allow for digital rights management. Case closed. There are NO legitimate services that could have a contract with the RIAA for distribution of MP3 files.

that's pretty sad considering mp3s have become the most compatible format among all music players =(

The only format that is supported on all players is MP3. Ipod doesn't support ogg/WMA, and most others don't support ogg/AAC. Even if you buy it in a format you like now, what is to say that you're not gonna change playets sometime down the road and will need to rencode all your WMA/AAC files?

Here's the thing though; AllofMP3 isn't in America, so the RIAA has no jurisdiction, and they can't catch American users since they can't get at the server logs. I don't think it's possible for them to declare anything, only the (seemingly non-existant) Russian equivilent can.
