I've already ripped Interstallar, Gravity, and Mission Impossible 4: Ghost Protocol because I want to share them with my coworkers in the closest way possible to when I first saw them on IMAX. Now I've got a couple Cardboard units on the way to test with my coworker's 4K LG G4 primarily as a large-format movie viewing platform. The thing is, it's not my phone so I can't explore apps in anticipation, so I need some recommendations. I'll also be doing some testing with an iPhone 6 Plus so I'd appreciate iOS app recommendations too.
Sure, it's not going to be 4K with less than half of the resolution per-eye, but most of my sources are going to be 1080p Blu-Ray rips anyway. The large format screen and sound is more important to me.
