What applications would having a higher memory bandwidth prove useful?

I just recently overclocked my pc800 to pc1120 but i can't really notice that much of a difffernce when i play games. My 3dmark score was pretty much the same also (yes i we don't play 3dmark, but jes something i used to see if there was a difference). In sandra though, i can see a nice increase of 800 mb of bandwidth though..
