This morning my dad and I went out to look at cars for me. We decided to go check on lot that we'd been to several times, just to see what was there. I ended up getting a '90 civic (4spd, 95k), its really nice.
So later i went out on my bosses boat for dinner (I work in a marina, go figure). When we got back we all went to watch a movie in his house. About half-way through some people come running up the driveway saying that there is a car in the water at the boat ramp. obviously we all went down there to see what was up. luckily there was no one in it, but we called the police to get the thing taken care off. It took them 30 minutes to get there (granted we were in south central bum-fsck). Because of the way the marina is set up, i got stuck on the worng side of all the police cars and such, and had to wait around for three hours while these idiots argued over who was getting in the water to attch the tow rope to the thing. I would have done it if i thought they would have let me.
I finally got out of there around midnight and had to go get gas. While i was there, some idiot decided to drive off with the pump still in his car. while it was no inconvience to me, and i found it quite amusing at the time (especially the guy, who seemed to be his friend, laughing and taking pictures), really stupid people are annoying
But back to the positive, I got a "new" car, and its beautiful
