Good Lord you people are a bunch of pansies!
I dont much care for the skinning of animals, but it's because I don't like getting dirty. I like my hands clean, no biological mess for me to clean up. My brother, however, has skinned more small animals than I can count. Moles, gophers, squirrels, a beaver (it was roadkill, hit during the peak of winter - perfect coat), you name it. He has squirrel skins tacked to the inside of his closet door.
Yet he's an absolutely normal 14 (now 15) year old. On his wall he has a 75 lb compound bow, a 20 gauge shotgun, a .22 rifle, & several pellet guns. He has his hunting license, and is quite a good shot with the rifle (he can take a squirrels head off from a distance at which I cannot even see the squirrel).
There is absolutely nothing wrong, abnormal, or troublesome about this.
You people are just entirely too fond of cute little animals with bushy tails. Well where I come from, those cute little animals eat enough nuts to equal two rows of trees all the way around the orchard. They're a pest, an expensive pest. My brother killed over 50 of them last summer.
And I say good for him.
